This small ferry boat can provide service to coastal islands or a remote river crossing. Vessels of this type were common in the steam-era, and some are still in operation. This HO Scale kit includes a solid plaster hull former with the proper sheer, flare and deck camber built in. When covered with Northeastern strip wood (included), the result is a superbly realistic model. Numerous photo-etched parts, such as the deckhouse, pilothouse and others, are near scale thickness to further increase realism. Cast metal details include the lifeboats, vents and more. The finished model requires just 11 x 4″ (27.5 x 10 cm) of layout space. A great detail for any busy waterfront.
